-“Eyewitness” exhibition
Thirty years of photojournalism, distinctions and awards, thirty years during which Yannis Behrakis was present at the events that now are considered contemporary history in the making. Visitors will have the opportunity to see a collection of seventy of the strongest and most influential photographs, from the beginning of his career until the migrant crisis of 2015, which gave him and his team the Pulitzer prize. The exhibition will be hosted in the Patio of the 4th floor of the National Library of Greece at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. At the same time, there will be screenings of Yannis Behrakis’s speeches and interviews during his long lasting photographic career with his most important reflections about photography and about the world.
The exhibition will run from 7th June to 31th August!
