World Press Photo Exhibition 2019

Athens Photo World in collaboration with the World Press Photo Foundation presents the World Press Photo 2019 international photojournalism exhibition. The most prestigious international photographic event bringing the most fascinating images of 2018 to Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center at the National Library of Greece ground floor from June 7 until June 30, 2019.

The Athenian audience will have the opportunity to see the 157 photographs of 43 photographers from 25 countries, which were awarded in their respective categories, along with the two major winners of World Press Photo of the Year, John Moore with his photograph “Crying Girl on the Border” and the new category launched this year, World Press Photo Story of the Year Pieter Ten Hoopen with the work “Migrant Caravan”
